Here’s a little biographical information about me:

I was born just outside of Sacramento, CA while my parents were serving at a church there. Shortly after I was born, we moved to Woodland, WA where we spent the next couple of years, during which time we actually attended the Vancouver First Church of God. My parents were involved in the Music Ministry here at the time, including singing in the Choir and playing various instruments for the worship services.

After a couple of years, we moved to Ohio where my dad took a position in a church. We lived there for the rest of my growing up years, in Jackson, OH. That’s where we became Ohio State Buckeyes Fans!

I grew up in the church, spending many hours there with my parents at services and choir rehearsals. Our family also did music as a family, and I have many fond memories of the five of us doing music together.

After High School, I went to Indiana Wesleyan University for three years where I studied Church Music, Music Theory & Composition. After that I moved out here to the great Northwest, and started attending Multnomah Bible College.

During my time at Multnomah, I was the interim Worship Arts Pastor at Laurelwood Baptist Church in East Vancouver, where I met my wife. We got married in May of 2003.

In January of 2004, we moved to Longview, WA to take a full-time, Music & Worship Pastor position at Calvary Community Church. We were there for almost 4 years. While we were there, we had Hannah our oldest in 2006 and Henry in 2008.

In November of 2007, I became the Worship Arts Pastor at Gateway Church in Washougal, where I have been for the last 4 years. We had our youngest son, Harrison, while living there this past November.

Now, I am the Worship Pastor at Vancouver First Church of God. We as a family feel so extremely blessed to be a part of this church! We know it was God who led us here and worked out all the details for us to be able to come and join you. We are really looking forward to writing these chapters of our lives with you!
