I know it’s been forever and a day since I posted anything here. The short reason is it’s complicated. The long story is, well, just ask me in person some-time 🙂 In the meantime, I thought I’d put up a recording of one of my songs that’s not up here yet. I wrote this song a few years ago. We’ve been using this song as a worship song at our church for a while now, and many people seem to like it – maybe you will too. I just changed the layout a bit, and I still have some work I’m going to do on the song, but you’ll get the idea! Thanks for listening!

The verses are taken from Psalm 121. The chorus came to me first. I was stressed out one day, and I had the thought – what am I stressed about? The Lord is my help and my salvation, whom shall I fear? My help comes from the maker of Heaven and Earth. Then I had the thought if I could just rest in that peace that passes understanding, the peace that comes with the promises of God, I would be much better off. And that’s the way this song came about!
